There are over 250 Patient Assistance Programs and each program varies in it's qualification guidelines. Generally you will qualify for assistance if:
- You are a legal resident of the United States
- You lack insurance coverage for prescription medication
- Your income is low enough to cause a hardship when paying retail prices for prescription medication. (Though each Patient Assistance Program is different, you will generally qualify for help with prescriptions if your income is below $1,800 per month for a 1-person household; below $2,500 per month for a 2-person household).
